FORGIVE SOMEONE TODAY!

Have you ever wondered why things may not work in your favor? Do you feel like when you pray, your prayers just hit the ceiling? Have you asked yourself could it be that I am harboring resentment and unforgiveness in my heart towards my brother or sister? Remember that GOD says repeatedly in HIS word in Matthew 6:14 and Ephesians 4:32, that we should forgive others just as CHRIST has forgiven us. Unforgiveness turns into hatred and hatred mixed with unforgiveness is pretty much pending murder. Don't let the enemy play on your emotions to make you feel victimized. We all have failed GOD. We are all deserving of eternal judgement. JESUS bled out for us to be free from sin, so therefore we owe HIM our lives. Remember not only does unforgiveness puts your eternity at risk, but it also causes health issues along with shortening your life span. Place your heart at the altar and ask GOD to help you love and forgive the way HE has instructed us to do. Say this prayer if you need help.

LORD, I know that you want us to forgive one another and pray for those that wrongfully misuse us. Please help me to love you to the point of not risking my relationship with you over not forgiving my neighbor. I have been wronged, but I know and realize that I have wronged you even more and you died as a result of it. I have no right to hold my neighbor hostage in my heart so therefore, I choose to release________ and love them the way you have commanded us to love one another. I also repent for all unforgiveness and on this same note, I ask you to forgive me for holding resentment in my heart against ________. LORD you said that if I humble myself and confess my sins, you are faithful and just to forgive me. ( 1 John 1:9)Thank you for your everlasting love for me and your delight in forgiving me.
